Henrietta M. (Bach) Junk
Henrietta M. (Bach) Junk, 94, of Dunbar, Pa., passed away Monday, November 7, 2016 in Conner’s Personal Care Home, Dunbar.
She was born October 25, 1922 in Smithton, Pa., daughter of Ardo and Jessie (Troup) Bach.
Henrietta was a member of Laurel Hill Presbyterian Church, Dunbar, where she served as an Elder.
She was a 50-year member of Order of the Eastern Star where she was Past Matron from 1959-1960 and a member of Margaret E. Caven Shrine No. 42 W.S.O.J.
Henrietta was predeceased by her parents; her husband, James W. Junk Sr.; a grandson, Jeffrey Junk; a great-grandson, L.B. Herbert; and a brother, Robert Bach.
Henrietta is survived by a daughter, Lois M. Wahler and husband Jerry, and two sons, James W. Junk Jr. and wife Ida P. and Robert L. Junk and wife Maryann all of Dunbar; five grandchildren: Phyllis Whoric and husband Rick, Cindy Coligan and husband Greg, Heidi Culver and husband Adam, Holli Zavatchan and husband Brian, and Ron Herbert and wife Alverta; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Audrey Nutt of Belle Vernon, Pa.
Friends will be received in the VITO C. MARTUCCI FUNERAL HOME, 123 South First Street, West Side, Connellsville, Pa., 724.628.9033 Wednesday 3 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 10 until 11 a.m., the hour of Service in the funeral home. Pastor Jeff Smith will officiate.
Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
