Harry I. Kudlac
Harry I. Kudlac, 86, West Brownsville, Pa. passed away on Friday, November 11, 2016.
He was born December 16, 1929 in Braznell, Pa., son of August and Mary (Redmond) Kudlac who preceded him in death.
Harry was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He served from 1948-1952 with the 103rd Seabees during the Korean Conflict.
He was a past Fire Chief of Brownsville Fire Company No. 1.
He was a member of the John F. Kennedy American Legion Post 377 in California, Pa., and a member of the United Christian Church – DOC in California, Pa.
Harry worked at NAPA in Brownsville, Pa., for 53 years.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 64 years, Ruth (Beatty) Kudlac; nephew, Sam Abram and wife Barbara; great nephew, Sam Abram Jr. and wife Katy; great niece, Marjorie (Abram) Loukota and husband Ed; two great-great nephews: Ryan T. DeCarlo and Samuel A. Abram; great-great niece Madeleine Abram; and extended family, Carl and Amy DellPenna and their children Carl Jr. and Caleb.
Friends will be received in NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, Pa., on Monday, November 14 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m and Tuesday, November 15, until 10:00 a.m., the hour of Service with Rev. David Chafin officiating.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park in Brier Hill, Pa., where Full Military Rites and Honors will be accorded by the American Legion Posts 295, 940 and 838 and 377.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Harry’s name to charity of your choice.
Brownsville Fire Company No. 1 will hold Service in funeral home on Monday at 7:00 p.m.
