Florida trucker waives charges in alleged kidnap, rape
A Florida truck driver accused of kidnapping an 11-year-old girl he met online to have sex with her waived his charges to the Fayette County Court of Common Pleas Monday.
Christopher William Brown, 27, of Sebastian, Florida, allegedly arranged to meet the girl in North Union Township in July.
The Herald-Standard does not identify those who allege they are victims of sexual assault.
According to court documents, the child met up with Brown on two occasions. He allegedly drove her to the Hampton Inn in Uniontown and photographed their encounters.
He was taken into custody at a Louisiana truck stop in August and extradited to Pennsylvania.
Brown is charged with one count of criminal use of a communication facility, two counts each of kidnap and interference with child custody, and four counts each of rape of a child, statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, unlawful contact with minors, corruption of minors, indecent assault of a person less than 13.
He is lodged in Fayette County Prison in lieu of a $500,000 bond.
