Doreen E. (Murray) Kayla Matty
Doreen E. (Murray) Kayla Matty, 70, of Jefferson Township, Fayette City, Pa., passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016 at her residence.
She was born July 14, 1946 in Brownsville, Pa., daughter of George Willis Murray and Geraldine (Hickman) Murray.
Doreen grew up in Newell and still spent a lot of time in the community.
She was a member of Saint John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Perryopolis, Pa., Sokol Club in Perryopolis, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Santa Barbara Club in Newell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Frank Richard Kayla; sister, Letishia Carroll; and niece, Letishia Carroll.
She is survived by her husband, John E. Matty Jr.; three sons: Frank Kayla and wife Cathy of Fairchance, Pa., John E. Matty III and wife Lisa of Newell, Pa., and David Matty and his fiancee Rebecca Rubish of Perryopolis, Pa.; seven grandchildren: Frank Jared Kayla, Kayleen Mehalic, Karli Stiffler, Frank Willis Kayla, Karissa Kayla, Janelle Matty, Samantha Matty; six great grandchildren. Also survived by Lulu, Woody and Cello.

Blessing Services will be held Thursday at 12:30 p.m. in the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m in Saint John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Perryopolis, Pa.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
