Jessie R. (Henshaw) Ford
Jessie R. (Henshaw) Ford, 89, Uniontown, Pa. went home to be with her Savior and Lord Jesus on Tuesday, November 15, 2016.
She was born on November 19, 1926 in Uniontown, Pa., daughter of William Henshaw and Virginia (Crossland) Henshaw.
Jessie graduated from North Union High School Class of 1944.
She was a member of Great Bethel Baptist Church in Uniontown and the Triangle Sunday School Class and also attended the First Baptist Church of Fairchance and the Friendship Sunday School Class.
Preceding her in death were her parents; loving husband of 54 years, Reverend Robert C. Ford; a brother, Homer Henshaw; and a special aunt, Pauline Crossland.
Surviving are her loving family, her children: Miles Ford and wife Lois of Pittsburgh, Pa., Virginia Hughes and husband David of Exton, Pa., Reverend Homer Ford and wife Reverend Soozi Ford of Greenwood Indiana and Linda Ford and husband Edward Festor of Uniontown, Pa.; seven grandchildren: Graham and Clinton, Michael and Genevieve, Ashley, Holly and Adam; five great grandchildren: Nate, George, Molly, Benjamin and Robin; sister, Pauline Strauss of Uniontown, Pa.; and niece, Dorothy.
The family will greet friends and family in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m and Saturday, November 19, 2016 in the FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, 17 North Morgantown Street, Fairchance, Pa., from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Pastor David Rasmussen and Pastor Pete Malik will officiate.
Interment will be in Sylvan Heights Cemetery Uniontown, Pa.
