A man was struck by a road roller in South Connellsville Thursday afternoon and air-lifted by medical helicopter to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital with sustaining injuries according to Fayette-911.

First responders were called to the incident on 1840 Baldridge Ave. around 2:12 p.m. in South Connellsville. 

According to South Connellsville Volunteer Fire Department Chief Jeremy Grubbs, “the patient was alert when he got to the landing zone and he was talking.” 

Fayette EMS, South Connellsville Police Department and South Connellsville Volunteer Fire Department responded to the incident.
