Uniontown man slashed during domestic dispute
Police said a man was cut with a kitchen knife during an argument at a Uniontown residence early Friday morning.
Uniontown police were dispatched to the 200 block of Braddock Avenue in Uniontown at 3:14 a.m. for a domestic dispute resulting in Brandon Harris, Sr. of Uniontown being transported to the hospital because of a 4-5 inch laceration across his arm.
Police said when they arrived on scene, Quintala Gray, 26, of Uniontown was outside holding a baby and told police she was involved in a fight and someone got cut. Police also said they saw Brandon Harris, Sr. exit the residence with a white towel around his upper left arm. When removing the towel, police observed the wound.
Police reported that while Gray was in custody she stated that Harris’s wife showed up and that was what started the argument. She also stated she struck Harris with a lamp.
According to police, a stainless steel butcher knife was found in the drawer of the end-table.
Harris was transported to Uniontown Hospital by Fayette EMS for further treatment. According to the police report, his wife called 911.
Gray is being charged for alleged simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment. She is confined in the Fayette County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail.
