Paul Eugene Collins
Paul Eugene Collins, 79, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Thursday, November 24, 2016 in the Uniontown Hospital.
He was born on December 31, 1936.
Paul worked in the coal mines for many years.
He along with his wife Mildred owned Petty’s Lunch Restaurant and later owned and operated the Collins Personal Care Home.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing, loved talking with neighbors on his porch, and you could always find him at Sam’s Restaurant in Uniontown
Paul was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mildred Marie (Grimes) Collins in September 1996; his son, William Cavalcante; step daughter, Gloria Whoolery; and grandsons Clarence Cavalcante and Daniel Cavalcante.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter-in-law, Karla Cavalcante; son-in-law, Thomas Whoolery; his grand children and great grand children; several siblings; distant relatives and many friends.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa., Monday, November 28, from 4 to 8 p.m. Additional visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 29, from Noon until 1 p.m., the hour of Service with Pastor Lee Maley officiating.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa
