Donora resident arrested in Washington drug raid
Three people including a Donora resident were arrested Thursday on outstanding warrants following the execution of a search warrant at a Washington apartment.
According to Washington County District Attorney Eugene A. Vittone, a search warrant was obtained for 175 Brookside Ave., Apt. 1 as part of an on-going investigation into heroin trafficking.
The Washington County Drug Task Force were assisted by Washington County Police and the Washington County Sheriff’s office.
Taken into custody on outstanding warrants were Lechiqua Tonae Zharee King, 22 of Donora, Jacob Kronemer, 42 of West Wheeling Street in Washington, and Dontaey L. Clites Jr, 25 of Pittsburgh. All three were lodged in the Washington County Correctional Facility on detainers.
Seized at the scene were 20 bricks of heroin, the equivalent of 1,200 stamp bags of the illegal drug, as well as a stolen 9-mm semiautomatic pistol, ammunition, $2,000 cash and additional drug paraphernalia.
Additional charges are expected to be filed at a later date by the drug task force.
