John Paul Bosworth
John Paul Bosworth, age 88, of Irving, Texas, formerly of Brownsville, Pennsylvania died unexpectedly on Tuesday September 20, 2016.
He was born on Saturday, July 25, 1925, in Waynesburg, Pa., a son of Charles and Pearl Bosworth.
John owned//operated High Street Garage in Hiller, Pennsylvania.
He was also a Machinist for Sheehan’s Automotive, Brownsville, Pennsylvania.
He was a Lifetime member of the Hiller Volunteer Fire Department.
His favorite pastime was drag racing.
John was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Evelyn Bosworth on Tuesday, March 8, 2005; brother, Charles Bosworth; and his sister, Mary Medlick.
Left to cherish his memory are his four sons Paul D. Bosworth and his wife Paula of Brownsville, Pa., Clifford A. Bosworth and wife Bonnie of Fayette City, Pa., Terry Bosworth and his wife Crystal of Brownsville, Pa., and Matthew Bosworth of Irving, Texas; brother, James Bosworth and wife Norma of Waynesburg, Pa.; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Friends will be received in the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME, INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, Pa., on Monday, September 26, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m and Tuesday, September 27, 2016 until 11:00 a.m. when Funeral Services will be held in the Funeral home with Rev. B.T. Gulligan officiating.
Interment will follow in Phillipsburg Cemetery California, Pennsylvania.
