Newborn found in trash of gas station bathroom in North Belle Vernon

A newborn baby was discovered in the trash inside a women’s restroom of the BP Gas Station on Fayette Avenue in North Belle Vernon Saturday.

Westmoreland County 911 received the call for a medical request at the gas station at 1:18 p.m. Two patients were transported to a nearby hospital by Rostraver and Mon Valley EMS. North Belle Vernon Police are currently investigating.
