Elinor Jean Keefer age 86 of Hopwood, Pa., died Tuesday, April 11, 2017 in Uniontown Hospital.

She was born March 31, 1931 in Uniontown, Pa., daughter of the late Jordan and Viola Herring.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Francis Keefer and a son Gary Bruce Keefer.

Elinor was a life member of Third Presbyterian Church in Uniontown and the Order of Eastern Star. She devoted her life to her family.

She is survived by her son Ronald Keefer and wife Suzanne of Fort Hill, Pa.; grandchildren: Mindy Emch, Adam Keefer, Jessica Johnston, Abby Keefer, Maddox Keefer, Brian Keefer, and Aaron Keefer; five great grandchildren and a daughter-in-law Paula Keefer.

Friends will be received in the DONALD R CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD, PA., Friday, April 14, 2017, from 5 to 7 p.m., the hour of service with Pastor Nicholas Cook officiating.

Interment will be private.
