Louise A. (Podesta) Cislak
Louise A. (Podesta) Cislak, 90, of New Eagle, Pa., died Thursday, April 27, 2017 in her home.
She was born June 15, 1926 in New Eagle, Pa., daughter of Henry and Celeste (Turri) Podesta.
A homemaker, Louise was a 1944 graduate of the Monongahela High School and a member of Saint Damien of Molokai Parish in Monongahela.
An avid bingo player she loved listening and dancing to polka music and she served on the Ringgold School Board during the 1970’s.
Surviving are six sons: Mark Cislak of New Eagle, Pa., Vince (Carla) Cislak of Monessen, Pa., Richard Cislak of Alabama, Michael Cislak of New Eagle, Pa., David Cislak of Virginia and Donald Cislak (Cherie Colucci) of New Eagle, Pa.; four daughters: Pamela (Alex) Moreschi of Ohio, Sandra (Dennis) Butler of Monongahela, Pa., Barbara Gibson of Monongahela, Pa., and Blanche (Archie) Caseber of New Eagle, Pa.; ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband Henry ‘Hank’ Cislak who died in 1985; her parents; two brothers Anthony Podesta and Raymond Podesta; and a sister, Kay Podesta Rudnick.
Friends will be received at MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess Street, Monongahela, Pa., (724.258.6767), marshall marrafuneralhome.com from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m Monday where Services will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 10 a.m. with Father William R. Terza officiating.
Interment follows in Monongahela Cemetery.
