Preliminary hearings 8-20-17

Several preliminary hearings were held this week in Fayette, Greene and Washington counties. The results include:

Charges filed against Tabatha Rachelle Eicher, 35, and Thomas Edward Traynor, 50, both of Hopwood were dismissed Tuesday. Police alleged Traynor slapped Eicher and Eicher stabbed Traynor in his right forearm with a serrated knife June 26.

James Andrew “Andy” Burnsworth, 40, was held for court Monday on charges of aggravated indecent assault of a person less than 13 and indecent assault of a person less than 13 for allegedly assaulting an 8-year-old girl about 10 times in September and October 2007. He is lodged in Washington County Prison awaiting trial for statutory sexual assault in an unrelated case.

Fantina Devenia Rawls, 38, of Charleroi waived her charges to the Washington County Court of Common Pleas Thursday for allegedly driving her son, Daquan Rawls, 18, of Charleroi and Gerin T. Williamson, 18, of Verona to an apartment Aug. 7 where the men allegedly tied up a 17-year-old boy, injured him and ransacked the house. She is charged with conspiracy to commit robbery, flight to avoid apprehension, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and three counts of receiving stolen property.
