Lisa Marie Ozanick

Lisa Marie Ozanick, age 34, of Lemont Furnace, Pa., died suddenly on Sunday, August 20, 2017, UPMC Presby Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. She was taken suddenly due to a tragic vehicle accident.

She was born March 22, 1983 in Uniontown, Pa. Preceded in death by her grandparents Joseph and Edna Oberleitner and George and Helen Ozanick.

Lisa was always a hard worker. She grew up working with her family at Kenny’s Market, and was a Supervisor at UPS. Yet she always made time to help out friends and family.

Lisa was best known for her infectious smile and one-of-a-kind laugh. She brought joy to everyone she met with her bright light and cheerful personality. Her laugh, her smile, and the twinkle in her eye will always be in our memories.

Lisa’s biggest joy in life was her family. She loved babysitting her niece Rhylan and her nephew Bryce and spending time with her best friend and sister, April.

Lisa had a close relationship with her parents. They were her buddies. Her dad always told her to be careful and “see you later honey.” They often bonded over their shared work at UPS. Lisa was her mom’s chauffeur, always driving her on a new adventure and helping her out in every way.

In her spare time, Lisa loved to travel and ice skate.

Lisa is survived by her parents Kenny and Polly Ozanick, sister April Ozanick-Rishel and husband Kevin, and niece Rhylan and nephew Bryce and immediate family: Beverly and Eli George; Liz and Parag Shah and Eli and Heather George; Kenneth (deceased) and Trisha Oberleitner, and Ryan Oberleitner; Linda and Jim Davis; Ashley and Cody Copeland and goddaughter Addison Copeland; George and Judy Ozanick and Georgie Ozanick and Beth and Eric Yates; Marlene and Mike Klamerus and Megan and Chris Zivkovich and Mike and Shelia Klamerus; Judy and Rob Carpeal and Joey Carpeal; John Shinsky; Joy and Tom Robinson and Jill and Chris Michaloski. Lisa is also survived by her boyfriend Justin Smith.

In addition, Lisa is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members and friends.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, Pa. Friday, August 25, 2017 from 2-8 p.m. and on Saturday, August 26, 2017 until 9:15 a.m. when prayers of transfer will be said.

A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown, Pa. at 10:15 a.m.

The Parish Wake Service will be held Friday August 25, 2017 at 3 P.M.

Entombment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
