Agnes B. Drozeck Skobel
Agnes B. (Drozeck) Skobel, age 91, of Rowes Run, Pa., died Monday, August 28, 2017.
She was born on December 13, 1925 in Rowes Run, Pa., to the late Julius and Hedwig (Guy) Drozeck.
Agnes was a member of Saint Cecilia Roman Catholic Church and The Christian Mothers.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Stanley Skobel, of 62 years.
Agnes is survived by five children: Mark Skobel and wife Jill of Houston, Texas, Robert Skobel and wife Vicki of Dallas, Texas, Nancy Skobel of Uniontown, Pa., with whom she made her home, Judy Long and husband Bill of West Newton, Pa., Christine Polkabla and husband Tom of Perryopolis, Pa.; 12 grandchildren: Christie and husband Christopher, Frank, Jessica and husband Cody, Juli and husband Alex, Steven and wife Bethany, Isabella, Mia, Zachary, Abigail, Lucas, Sydney, Grace; and great granddaughter, Ann Marie.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., today 2 to 8 p.m. and Thursday until 10:30 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00 in Saint Cecilia Roman Catholic Church in Grindstone, Pa., with Rev. Father Alvin Enal Cabungcal as celebrant.
Interment in Lafayette Memorial Park.
