Walsh hosting telephone town hall on Monday
State Rep. Justin Walsh, R-Rostraver Township, is hosting a telephone town hall meeting on Monday at 5:30 p.m. as a way to reach out to constituents in the Mon Valley.
During the call, Walsh will provide residents a legislative update, and take part in a question and answer session.
Residents in the 58th district, which Walsh represents, will receive a call to landlines around 5:30 p.m. Monday, and should remain on the line until the meeting begins if they wish to participate.
Those who have cellphones can call into the meeting by dialing 877-229-8493, and entering the code 116919.
The district covers portions of Westmoreland County, including the city of Monessen, Rostraver, East Huntingdon and South Huntingdon townships and the boroughs of West Newton, North Belle Vernon, Smithton and Mount Pleasant.
A link to a webstream of the town hall can be found on Walsh’s website, www.repwalsh.com by clicking on the E-Newsletter update, and going to the link for the telephone town hall.
A legislative session delayed a telephone town hall previously scheduled for Nov. 20.
If the town hall is delayed again by a legislative session, Walsh said he would post notification of that on his Facebook page, Facebook.com/RepWalsh.
