Preliminary hearings 12-3-17
Several preliminary hearings were held this week in Fayette and Greene counties. The results include:
Lonnie R. Watson, 51, of Dunbar was held for the Fayette County Court of Common Pleas Monday for allegedly performing a sex act on two teen boys, ages 15 and 17, who ran away from a local group home in June. He is charged with two counts each of rape of a substantially impaired person, corruption of minors, indecent assault without consent and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a substantially impaired person, and one count each of statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse of a person less than 16, interference with child custody, indecent assault of a substantially impaired person, indecent assault of a person less than 16 and sexual assault. He was released from jail after a $50,000 bond was posted on his behalf.
Matthew G. Hibbard, 22, of Butler waived charges of robbery, simple assault and theft for allegedly robbing BB’s Market in South Union Township Nov. 14. He is lodged in Fayette County Prison in lieu of a $50,000 bond.
Brett M. Dulaney, 35, of Waynesburg was held for court Thursday on charges of arson and simple assault. He allegedly assaulted a woman and lit their trailer on fire Nov. 2. He is lodged in Greene County Prison in lieu of a $50,000 bond.
