Connie J. Wertz
Connie J. Wertz, age 76, of Brownsville, Pa., passed away Friday, December 22, 2017 after bravely fighting a long terminal illness.
She was born Constance Joyce Wertz on January 30, 1941 to George and Anna (Horner) Wertz, who preceded her in death.
Connie will fondly be remembered for having a very kind heart and an unconditional love for her family. She enjoyed spending as much time as she could with family.
Although she was unable to attend church on a regular basis due to her health, she very much enjoyed her faith.
She was preceded in death by her two brothers, George Ross Wertz and Gerald Wertz and his wife Frances; and nephew, Joe Conner.
Left to cherish her memory are a sister, Charlotte Miller and her husband Lawrence; sister -in-law, Mary Wertz, with whom she made her home; niece, Roxanne Conner and her daughter Rebecca; nephew, Jerry Wertz Jr. and wife Terri and their son Jerry III; nephew, Glenn Newell and wife Kerri and their children Jessica, Benjamin, and Cassandra She is also survived by many loving cousins and friends.
Family and Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Father Timothy J. Kruthaupt officiating.
Private interment will be held in Saint Nicholas Byzantine Cemetery.
