Gregory Hall “Duck”
Gregory “Duck” Hall, 61, of Dunbar, Pa., passed peacefully at his home Wednesday, December 27, 2017.
He was born May 4, 1956 son of the late John R. Hall Jr. and the late Aldorea “Allie” Hall, n*e Coleman, at the Uniontown Hospital in Fayette County.
Duck was a proud member of the Laborers Union Local 286.
He was an avid outdoor sportsman. His favorite times were spent hunting and taking his children and his grandchildren fishing at the Lemont Furnace Sportsman’s Club of which he was a member for over 20 years.
He was also a member of the Dunbar Eagles.
Duck could always be counted on to lend a helping hand wherever needed.
He was a gifted story-teller and leaves many tales that will be passed on from his children to his grand children and beyond.
His most important legacies were teaching his family to hunt and fish, to love nature, do what’s right, and help others.
Duck is survived by his wife of 31 years, Debbie Hall (Collingwood), and his children, daughter Elisha Ronzio and friend Matt, son Adam Halland fianc*e Michelle, daughter Mindy Hall and friend Jeff. He will also be lovingly remembered by his five grand children, Zo*, Griffin, Isaac, Vada, Remington; his brothers and sisters, Nancy Stimmel and husband John, Delbert “Deb” Hall and wife Norma, John Gary Hall, Shirley Fullem, Monnie (Wanita) Keilbach and husband Chuck, Sally Martin and Pete, Kenny Hall and wife Shelly; sister-in-law, Brenda Drouven and husband Bernd of Germany; and mother-in-law, Emma Collingwood; along with many special nieces, nephews, cousins, friends
In addition to his parents, Duck was predeceased by his brother, Ronald “Buck” Hall; and brother-in-law, Gene Fullem.
Per his request, his family will hold a private, family only service.
In lieu of flowers, fill up your gas tank, buy some fishing bait and take your kids and grandkids fishing —– he would have wanted that.
