Multiple fire crews battling house fire in Saltlick Twp.
Multiple fire crews worked strenuously in cold winter conditions to battle a house fire on Imel Road off of Indian Creek Valley Road in Saltlick Twp. Sunday evening.
About six crews responded to the call of a structure fire at 6:14 p.m. Sunday, made by a caller who saw the fire from a nearby location, according to Fayette County 911.
No one was inside the home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported. The fire marshal is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
Mutual aid EMS as well as a firefighter rehab crew was on scene to assist and ensure the safety of the firefighters working in dangerous winter conditions.
