Joseph Patrick “Joe” McClead
Joseph Patrick McClead, 60, Masontown, Pa., passed away January 8, 2017 at Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa.
He was born July 23, 1956 in Morgantown, W. Va., son of Harry William and Anna Martha (Yankura) McClead.
He was a graduate of Albert Gallatin High School, Class of 1975, and worked in the construction field before retiring.
He enjoyed fishing, camping and gardening.
‘Joe’ was a member of the Pals Club and social member of Masontown VFW Post 4584.
He was predeceased by his parents; and brother, Robert J. McClead.
Left to cherish his memory are his fiancee, Merle Dillow; stepchildren: Dawn Bryner, Christina Williamson, and Jerry Dillow; grandchildren: Alisha Simmons, K.J. Simmons and Breanna Williamson; brother, William ‘Bill’ McClead; sister, Susan A. Adams; sister, Mary Hayes; brother, Daniel Peluso; several nieces, nephews; special niece, ‘Princess Ava’; and his best friend, Jack Arndt.
Family and Friends will be received in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH JR. FUNERAL HOME, 7 River Ave., Masontown, Pa., today, January 10, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 until 11 a.m., the hour of the Service in the Funeral Home Chapel with Father James F. Bump officiating.
Interment will be at Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown, Pa.
