Steven Craig ‘Monk’ McClead Sr., 55, Dilliner Pa., passed away on Saturday January 7, 2017 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh Pa.
Born July 3, 1961 in Columbus, Ohio, he was son of the late Henry and Barbara (Lux) McClead.
A 1979 graduate of Albert Gallatin High School, he was employed in home remodeling for most of his career.
Monk enjoyed being outdoors, spending time with his friends, and was a great fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He is survived by his lifelong companion, Kathy Mankins; a son, Steven C. McClead Jr. of Bobtown, Pa.; a daughter Lisa (Naylor) Varano of Uniontown, Pa.; a sister, Brenda Horvwalt of Dilliner; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Deceased are two brothers, Ronnie McClead, Brian McClead and sister, Debbie Maust
Friends will be received in RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion, Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m Funeral Services begin at 5:00 p.m. Rev. French Jenkins will officiate.
