Elizabeth (Kinney) Ford
Elizabeth (McKinney) Ford, 86, Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at home with family around her.
She was born October 19, 1930 in Grindstone, Pa., to Luther Kinney Sr. and Minnie McKinon.
She was a member of the congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses for 34 years. She dedicated her life on August 10, 1982.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her daughter, Ellen Lorraine Smith; brother, Luther Kinney Jr.; sister, Mary Brown; and parents.
She is survived by brothers: Fred Kinney of Uniontown, Pa., Robert Kinney of Blairsville, Pa; a sister, Claudette Chism (Kip) of Pittsburgh, Pa. She will be missed by all but mostly by her children: Louise McFarland (Fred) of Ohio, Barbara Darnell Jackson of Uniontown, Pa., Lumont Shannon Sr. (Anna) of Uniontown, Pa, Charles ‘Jake’ Ford of Ohio, Charmaine Smith of Uniontown, Pa., Hugh Fant Jr. of Pittsburgh, Pa Annette Denise Fant of Uniontown, Pa., Cathleen Fant of Uniontown, Pa., Bruce Fant of Uniontown Pa., Chiquita Fant of Uniontown, Pa., and Ryland Ford of Georgia; a host grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends.
Friends will be received at the LANTZ FUNERAL HOME INC., 297 East Main Street, Uniontown, Pa., on Thursday, January 19 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., the hour of Service with Brother Timothy A. Stash officiating.
