Douglas Lint
Douglas R. Lint, 39, Connellsville, Pa., passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital due to sleep apnea.
He was born in Mount Pleasant, Pa., October 29 1977 son of Kimberly Lint and the late Donald E. Lint Jr.
Douglas was a self-employed plasterer.
When not working, Douglas enjoyed spending quality time with his family, who meant the world to him. He also enjoyed the outdoors especially when hunting and fishing.
In addition to his father, Douglas was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Donald and Geneva Lint Sr.; his maternal grand father, Donald Skelton; maternal grandmother, Jacqueline Burke; and an uncle, Donnie Skelton Jr.
In addition to his mother, Douglas is survived by his best friend and wife of 26 years Jamie (Mekic) Lint his son, James Lint and fiancee Jessica Secrest; his son, Caleb Lint; daughters: Bailey Lint, Marissa Lint, and Tessa Delawder; grandchild, Westin Lint; sister, Dana Whipkey and husband Bill; brother, Donnie Lint mother-in-law, Wendy Smith; father-in-law, Jim Mekic and wife Kerri; a sisters-in-law: Heather Farris and husband Matt, and Sarah McManamy; a brother-in-law, Nick Severa and wife Cyndee; nieces and nephews
Friends will be received in the VITO C. MARTUCCI FUNERAL HOME, 123 South First Street, West Side, Connellsville PA 15425 (724.628.9033) today from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 12 Noon until 5 p.m., the hour of Service in the funeral home with Pastor Lee Maley officiating.
