Louise Hudson Hartley 84, California, Pa., died Sunday, January 22, 2017
She was born Saturday, October 22, 1932, in West Pike Run Township, Pa., a daughter of Elza Theodore and Lillian May (Carpenter) Hudson
She was a member of the California United Christian Church Disciples of Christ.
For many years, Louise worked at the Vulcan Lounge at California University of Pennsylvania.
Louise was preceded in death by two children, Kaylynn Lohr and Kenneth Lee Hartley; her parents; and two sisters, Ann Blackburn and Sally Kotula.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 67 years, Thomas W. Hartley Sr.; son, Thomas W. Hartley Jr. and wife Linda of California, Pa.; son-in-law James Lohr of Martinsburg, Pa.; sister, Nancy Humme of Ellsworth, Pa.; six grand children: Lisa Adams and husband Dan, Thomas W. Hartley III and wife Stacie, Jimmy Lohr and Jonathan Weber, Hollie Sivits and husband Jeremy, Michelle Glass and husband Mark, Kristen Bramson and husband Dave; and eight great grandchildren.
Friends will be received in the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME, INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, Pa., today, Tuesday, January 24, from 2 to 9 p.m. and until 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2017 when Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home with Pastor Steve Dunlap and Rev. David Chafin co-officiating.
Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery.
