Warrant issued in sexual assault of 13-year-old in Uniontown
A warrant was issued Wednesday for a Pittsburgh man who allegedly sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl in Uniontown when he was 51.
Herbert Henry Pinckney, 56, of Pittsburgh allegedly touched the girl inappropriately on two occasions in the summer of 2012.
The girl told her mother about the alleged assault in 2014. Police were initially unable to locate Pinckney because of limited information on him. Uniontown police later found the man lived on Brownsville Road in Pittsburgh, according to court records.
Police interviewed him Sunday. He allegedly admitted to touching the girl once for sexual reasons. He claimed a second incident was for medical purposes, according to the affidavit of probable cause filed in his case.
He is charged with two counts of aggravated indecent assault, four counts of indecent assault and one count each of indecent assault and corruption of minors.
