Dorothy (Richardson) Green
Dorothy (Richardson) Green, 89, of Perryopolis, Pa., passed away Monday January 23, 2017 at her home peacefully with her family by her side.
She was born in Dravosburg, Pa., on February 12, 1927 the daughter of Sarah C. (Christopher) and John Elmer Richardson.
She was a member of Perryopolis Methodist Church, Eastern Star, and Golden Agers, and was a Perryopolis Senior Center Volunteer.
She was a secretary for the Perryopolis Magisterial District Court for 26 years.
Dorothy is survived by her children: Mark (Joanne) Green of North Huntingdon, Pa., Lori (Jeff) Peart of Belle Vernon, Pa., Matthew (Diana) Green of Merrittstown, Pa. She was also the proud grandmother of Aubrey, Kylen, Wade, Bram, Jeremy and Megan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Eleanor Winkelvoss; and brother, Glenn Richardson.
Dorothy’s family will receive friends Friday, January 27, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, Pa. Additional visitation will take place on Saturday from 9 until 11 a.m., the hour of the Service.
Interment will be in Richland Cemetery, Dravosburg, Pa.
