Nancy J. (Cheti) Usher
Nancy J. (Cheti) Usher, age 83, Perryopolis, Pa., passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2017 with her loving family at her side in Monongalia Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia.
She was born in Charleroi, Pa., on April 30, 1933 a daughter of Bruno Cheti and Anne (Katinsky) Bartolozzi.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her step father, Beno Bartolozzi; and her husband of 37 years, Louis Usher Sr.
She is survived by three children: Vicki Usher (Mike Bucci) of Perryopolis, Pa., Linda Diamond (Chris) of Smithfield, Pa., Louis Usher Jr. of Perryopolis. She was a devoted grand mother to C.J. (Corey) Diamond and Jacob Diamond (Chealsie Shaffer) all of Smithfield, and Sam Bucci of Perryopolis. Nancy was a proud great grandmother to Harper Diamond. She is also survived by the following sisters: Shirley Niccoli (Bill) Mathew of North Carolina, Diane Minish (Jack) of Fort Myers, Florida, Janet Greenawalt (Patrick) of Charlotte, North Carolina Roberta Pergola (Ronald) of Charleroi, Pa., Rita Bartolozzi-Floyd (Sandra) of Fort Myers, Florida; and brother, John Bartolozzi (Nannette) of Fort Myers, Florida
Nancy was a long time member of Saint John the Baptist Roman Roman Catholic Church, Perryopolis, Pa.
She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved tennis.
Nancy’s family will receive relatives and friends today, January 26, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME, 305 Rear Independence St., Perryopolis, where Prayers of Transfer will be said on Friday, January 27, at 12:15 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. in Saint Sebastian Church, Belle Vernon.
Interment follows in Belle Vernon Cemetery, Belle Vernon, Pa.
