James T. Warman, 73, Scottdale, Pa., passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Mountain View Specialty Care Center, Unity Township.

Jim was born on February 18, 1944 in Uniontown, Pa., son of the late John R. and Betty L. Taylor Warman.

He married the former Kathleen J. Coffman on August 12, 1971.

Jim was a devoted husband, father, and brother.

He was employed as a Boilermaker at the USX Clairton Works for over 30 years, retiring in May 2001.

He graduated from Uniontown High School, Class of 1962, and attended the University of Virginia and West Virginia University.

Jim served as a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force in Homestead Florida from 1965 to 1969 during the Vietnam War.

He was a faithful member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Scottdale, a Life Member of the Scottdale BPO Elks Lodge No. 777, and a member of the Polish American Club (PAK) in Everson, Pa.

Jim enjoyed fishing, gardening, and going each summer to Ocean City, Maryland with his family. He was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan!

Jim will be sadly missed by his loving family: his wife of 45 years, Kathleen J. (Coffman) Warman; his son, Sean Michael Warman and his girlfriend Lynn Legge of Scottdale; his brother, John R. Warman Jr. and his wife Lorna of Uniontown, Pa.; his sister Beth Hess of Perryopolis, Pa.; his sisters-in-law: Eva Reed of Mount Pleasant, Pa., Phyllis Coffman of Scottdale, and Janice Albright and her husband William of Ruffsdale, Pa.; numerous nieces and nephews.

Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 Spring Street, Scottdale, Pa. (724.887.5300 / www.fergusonfunerals.com / GPS: N40 degrees 06.136, W79 degrees 35.278).

Family and friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Harry Speakman officiating.

Graveside committal service and interment will be in Keslar Cemetery.

Scottdale BPO Elks Lodge 777 will conduct a Memorial Service on Wednesday at 7:45 p.m.

The family wishes to extend their appreciation to caregivers at Westmoreland Hospital ICU, doctors, the Mountain View Specialty Care Center, and Interim Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Trinity United Methodist Church, 600 Hickory Street, Scottdale PA 15683 or to the Elks National Veterans Service Commission at Post Office Box 373, Scottdale, PA 15683.
