Leonard Wayne “Lenny” Trout

Leonard Wayne Trout, age 71, of Smithfield, Pa., died peacefully Friday, July 7, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born March 16, 1947 in Shoaf, Pa., the son of Jerry Trout and Marie (Lewis) Trout.
Lenny was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Richard Trout; and two brothers, Bill Trout and Ken Trout.
Lenny was a graduate of Fairchance-Georges High School with the class of 1965.
He enlisted in the United States Army and served in Korea during the Vietnam War.
Lenny was employed as an Apprentice Heavy Equipment Operator for the railroad with Belford-Beatty Corporation.
Lenny was a Life Member of the General George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103 in Hopwood, Pa., and the American Legion in Masontown, Pa.
Left to cherish Lenny’s memory are his son, Wayne L. Trout and wife Cherie of Uniontown, Pa; stepson, James Grimm and wife Deidra of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina; five grand children and one great grandson; several nieces, nephews, cousins and Laura.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pennsylvania
Services will be private at Lenny’s request.
