Woman charged with hitting car, woman at South Union Twp. Sonic
A Uniontown woman was arrested Tuesday after she allegedly struck a vehicle, then hit a woman while fleeing the scene at Sonic Drive-in in South Union Township.
Shayna Nichole Dewar, 30, is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and accident involving attended property.
The alleged victim, Pamela Phillips, suffered only possible minor injuries and did not require immediate medical treatment, according to state police.

Police said Pamela Phillips took a picture of Dewar’s license plate before she allegedly accelerated, hitting Phillips and fleeing the scene.
Dewar is lodged in Fayette County Prison in lieu of a $25,000 bond.
