Randy Check
Randy Check, 72 years of Uniontown, Pa., passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in the Uniontown Hospital.
He was born July 20, 1944 in Masontown, Pa.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Pasquale and Virginia Raspi Check; and six siblings, Roger ‘Jerry’ Check, Robert Check, Pearl Mondichak, Albert Check, Frank Check and Richard Check.
Randy was a former Supervisor at the Maple Creek Mine.
He was a member of Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, the AMVETS General Marshall Post 103 in Hopwood, Hutchinson Sportsmen’s Club.
Randy was a loving husband, father and grandfather who freely gave of himself to the family he loved and to his friends and everyone he met.
Surviving are his loving wife, Darleen Billie (Hroblak) Check; a daughter, Shannon Andrews and husband Tim of Erie, Pa.; a son, Derrick Check and wife Barb of Elizabeth, Pa.; three grandchildren: Paxton Check, Raegan Andrews and Delaney Andrews; and a sister, Blanche Kovach and husband Alex of Masontown, Pa.
Friends will be received in the SHELL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 164 South Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., Friday, June 2, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Father James D. Tringhese will conduct a Blessing Service at 7:00 p.m.
Interment will be private.
