South Union Township Walmart cleared after bomb threat

State police said a man called Wal-Mart in South Union Township at 2:30 a.m. Thursday claiming he had a bomb strapped to his chest and was coming to the store in three minutes to detonate it.

Officials evacuated the store and closed it for an investigation. Police cleared the scene after several hours, and the store was reopened.

No charges were filed Thursday afternoon.
