Anna ‘Irene’ Horwath, age 93, of Uniontown, Pa. passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017.

She was born August 7, 1923 in Waltersburg, Pa., a daughter of John Horwath Sr. and Barbara (Antolocci) Horwath.

‘Irene’ was preceded in death by her parents; brothers John Horwat Jr. and Mike Horwat; sisters Elizabeth Maleta, Julia Barrick and Mary Rusinack; and nephews, Ronald Rusinack and Robert Rusinack.

Surviving are the following nieces and nephews: Barbara Ulery, Michael Horwat, John Horwat, Linda Kieling, David Horwat, Kathleen Kastens, also nephews and nieces, John Rusinack, David Rusinack, Michael Rusinack, Barbara Hart and Geanine Black.

Graveside Services will be held in the SAINT JOHN BYZANTINE CEMETERY, Hopwood, Pa., on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Peter L. Peretti officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa.
