A Monessen woman waived her charges Tuesday for allegedly robbing a 7/11 convenience store in Monongahela, April 22.

Lori Lee Pidich, 45, allegedly stole cash and cigarettes from the convenience store along West Main Street and Route 136. As she fled, she allegedly attempted to run down a 7/11 employee who was trying to take a picture of her.

She is charged with robbery, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person and theft.

Pidich is lodged in Washington County Prison in lieu of a $50,000 bond.

She was charged Westmoreland County the same day for allegedly stealing her mother’s car and attempting to hit a Monessen police officer’s cruiser before fleeing to Monongahela the same day. She waived those charges in April.
