The Redstone Township supervisors awarded a $115,131 road paving contract.

Supervisors unanimously voted to award the contact to Victor Paving of Monongahela, which submitted the lowest of four bids, at their meeting last week.

The other bids ranged from $126,987 to $118,240.

In other business, the supervisors:

n Agreed to solicit prices for a new Ford F-350 or F-550 plow truck with and without a spreader through Costars, the state cooperative purchasing program.

n Approved hiring William Lancaster as a full time laborer at a rate of $16.41 an hour.
