Joseph Newell Swihart, 68 of Lake Lynn, Pa. passed away at home with his loving family by his side on Wednesday, June 21, 2017.

He was born June 9, 1949 in Dilliner, Pa., the son of the now late Luther Swihart and Daris (Tallman) Swihart.

Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Lu (Brenneman) Swihart and daughters.

The family will greet friends and family in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.

The funeral service will begin at 5:00 p.m.
