Virginia (Kohrman) Stewart, 79, Flatwoods, Pa., died on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born February 10, 1938 in Uniontown, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Harry F. and Mary (Sherlock) Kohrman.

A resident of Flatwoods for the past 53 years, Mrs. Stewart was a member of Saint John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Perryopolis, Pa., was a member of the Silver Sneakers, and loved to cook and bake which was enjoyed by many.

She is survived by four children: Deborah and Patrick McConville of Flatwoods, Peggy Marcinek of Flatwoods, Robin and Roger Poling of Perryopolis, James L. and Anna Marie Stewart of Greensburg, Pa.; nine grandchildren: Jessica and husband Jason, Patrick and wife Shelby, Andrew and wife Patty, Meghan, Christina and husband Matthew, Adam and wife Jessica, Livia and husband Chris, Carina and husband Mark, and Shane; 16 great grandchildren: Brooke, Molly, Madie, Mackenzie, Maddie, Teagan, Abigail, Max, Jake, Claire, Joey Raelynn, Alice, Irelynn, Mia, Jade and Mack; and two brothers: Eugene Kohrman and Richard Kohrman of Point Marion, Pa.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Stewart on September 2, 2002; grandson, Joseph Robert Marcinek; four brothers, Harry F. Kohrman Jr., James Kohrman, Charles Kohrman and Gerald Kohrman; four sisters, Elizabeth Kohrman, Mary Rush, Gertrude Christie, and Patricia Petruska.

Visitation will be held Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME &Amp; CREMATIONS, Family Owned and Operated, 191 LIBERTY STREET, PERRYOPOLIS, Pa., (724.736.2515).

Prayers of Transfer will be said Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Saint John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Perryopolis with Rev. Father Anthony W. Ditto as celebrant.

Interment will take place in the Bowman-Flatwoods Cemetery.

Members of Saint John the Baptist Church will pray the Rosary for the departed soul of Virginia Stewart on Monday at 3:00 p.m. in funeral home

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Virginia Stewart to the Joseph Marcinek Charitable Foundation, First National Bank, 2951 National Pike, Chalk Hill, PA 15421.
