By The 1 min read

A Connellsville man is facing drug delivery charges after investigators allegedly found three bricks of heroin during a traffic stop Thursday.

Jason Showman Sr., 36, is facing one count of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession with intent to deliver and three counts of possession of a controlled substance.

An investigation by the Fayette County Bureau of Investigation led detectives to Showman, who was a passenger in the vehicle during the traffic stop in Connellsville Township.

Investigators found a total of 151 stamp bags of heroin.

Police believe Showman was headed toward Monroeville.

He was arraigned Thursday morning before on-call Magisterial District Judge Richard Kasunic and lodged in Fayette County Prison in lieu of a $75,000 bond.
