Robert W. “Bob” Davis
Robert ‘Bob’ W. Davis, 77, of Markleysburg, Pa., went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 11, 2017.
He was born the son of John and Virginia Davis on March 19, 1939 in Grafton, West Virginia.
He was a member of the Gospel Center Church in Markleysburg, Pa., for over 50 years and served on their Board.
He was a long-time employee of E. W. Bowman Inc., and, after his retirement, enjoyed spending time with the Mountain Citizens Action Group.
He had a great love for music and enjoyed playing the guitar.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his first wife of 29 years, Deanna (Maust) Davis.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Lois (Friedline) Davis; son, Steven Davis and wife Ginger; daughter, Carol (Davis) Stewart and husband Martin; stepchildren: Rick Bowser and wife Pam, Todd Bowser and wife Wendy, and Melissa (Bowser) Huntington and husband Chris; 13 grand children: Josh, Joel, Josiah, and Jonathan Davis; Cassie (Stewart) Shoemaker and husband Garett, Nora Lee, Allison, and Elizabeth Bowser, Laikyn and Bethany Bowser, Sadie, Ashlynn, and Abigail Huntington.
Friends will be received at DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON, Pa., today from 2 to 4 p.m and 6 to 8 p.m.
The Service will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the GOSPEL CENTER CHURCH in Markleysburg, Pa., with additional visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Martin Stewart will be officiating.
