Tractor trailer crash snarls traffic on Interstate 70 near Bentleyville exit
A tractor trailer accident on Interstate 70 Friday has closed the interstate eastbound and westbound near the Bentleyville exit, and it will likely remain so for at least three hours.
The closures are between the Ginger Hill and Kammerer exits, and traffic is being rerouted, said state Department of Transportation spokeswoman Valerie Petersen.
Motorists can travel Toll 43, Route 40 and Route 519 to get around the area, she said.
Petersen indicated that area remains congested, and motorists are urged to avoid the area.
