David Michael Elsbury 61, of West Newton, Pa., passed away May 21, 2017 at West Virginia University Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va., as a result of a car accident.

He was born in Brownsville, Pa. on September 20, 1955, graduated from Brownsville High School and was a self employed mechanic.

Dave was a member of the Ronco Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed fishing and was a Steeler and West Virginia Mountaineer Fan.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife and daughter, Joyce.

He is survived by children: Michael Elsbury, Misty Elsbury, Jeffrey Elsbury and David M. Elsbury, Jr; step daughter, Samantha Clark and many grandchildren.

Friends will be received in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH FUNERAL HOME, 7 River Ave, Masontown, Pa. on Friday, May 26, 2017 from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. the hour of Service in the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Homer Marshall officiating.
