On Oct. 6, Bentleyville Police served a search warrant on the house of Donald K. Riggle, 51, of 451 Pittsburgh Road.

Police found Riggle sleeping in the house during their search, according to court paperwork.

Police allegedly discovered medications that did not belong to him, specifically generic Seroquel and generic Nerotin, some of which were not in properly labeled containers.

Also discovered were 19 stamp bags of heroin, a baggy containing marijuana, several gram weights for calibrating scales, several digital scales, empty heroin stamp bags, used needles, large amounts of packaging material, several pieces of glass and a mirror with residue.

Police found packaging material that’s indicative of preparing, cutting and packaging narcotics for sale.

Police also discovered a tub of marijuana in the form of cut plants that were in the process of manufacturing the buds for use and sale.

A Verizon Galaxy S7 belonging to Riggle was seized and contained multiple messages for drug delivery and sales.

Riggle was charged with manufacturing, delivery of or possession of a controlled substance, criminal use of a communication facility, possession of a controlled substance and use/possession of drug paraphernalia.

The charged were filed before Magisterial District Judge Curtis L. Thompson and a preliminary hearing will be scheduled after Riggle is arraigned.
