Ronald Allen Cole
Ronald Allen Cole, 82, of McClellandtown, Pa., passed away with his loving family by his side and went home to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on Friday November 3, 2017
He was born August 13, 1935 in Continental Two, Fayette County, Pa.
Ron was predeceased by his parents, Ezekiel L. Cole and Rose E. (Phillips) Cole; wife, Irene “Betty” (Myers) Cole; brother Arthur Cole sister Betty Cole Kelley.
Surviving are four children: Tracey Sennett and husband Robert, of Uniontown, Pa., Sharee Rogers and husband Gerald of Uniontown, Pa. Kristina Hutchinson and husband Russell of Connellsville, Pa., Karina Bernhardt and husband Michael of Dallastown, Pa.; grandchildren: Joshua Fisher, Jerry Rogers and wife Tessa, Ellen Rogers Lewis and husband Joshua, Jacob Hutchinson, David Hutchinson, Thomas Hutchinson, Madison Bernhardt and Cortland Bernhardt; two great grandchildren: Brantley Rogers, Cecily Rogers; sisters Lucille Miller of Uniontown, Pa, Charlotte Walton of Seaford, Delaware, and Martha Haberer and husband Bill of Masontown, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews including Jack Cole who was like a brother to Ron.
Ron was a United States Army Veteran serving from 1954 to 1957.
He was employed with Lockheed-Georgia and then as a Miner for 20 years until retirement at Dilworth Mine.
He was an avid gardener, enjoyed golfing and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Uniontown, Pa.
The family will greet friends and family in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m
Additional visitation on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 10 until 11 a.m. at the CALVARY BAPTIST CHURCH, 308 McClellandtown Road, Uniontown, Pa. Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ron Hudson and Pastor Joseph Ritz officiating.
Interment will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Georges Township, Pa., with Full Military Rites and Honors accorded by Gen. George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 308 McClellandtown Road, Uniontown, PA 15401.
