Mary Martha McAfee Coffman Lorenzo
Mary Martha (McAfee) Coffman Lorenzo, 92, longtime resident of Uniontown, Pennsylvania passed away Wednesday November 15, 2017.
She was born on September 16, 1925 in Greensburg, Pa., the daughter of John B. and Sara (Blair) McAfee.
Mary Martha graduated from South Union High School, Class of 1944, and Connellsville Business School.
In 1953, she became the Secretary at Second Presbyterian Church later Trinity United Presbyterian Church, retiring in 1985.
She was a member of the Uniontown Flower Club, Uniontown Country Club, Progress Club, Soroptimist, and 50-year member of the 500 Club.
In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her daughter Sheree Coffman Brannan; her husband, Patrick J. Lorenzo; her former husbands, William J. Bell and Albert A. Coffman; and her stepdaughter, Christina Lorenzo.
Mrs. Lorenzo is survived by her daughter, Judy Coffman Thornton (Michael) of Mohave Valley, Arizona; grandsons: Jay Murphy (Aimee) of Severna Park, Maryland and Michael Shott (Nikki) of Mohave Valley, Arizona; great grandsons: Cole Shott and Brody Shott; great granddaughters: Kathryn Murphy and Sarah Murphy; son-in-law, Bob Brannan of Pasadena, Maryland; cousin, Toni Walters of Grove City, Pennsylvania; step children: David Lorenzo (Cathy) of Pensacola Beach, Florida, Judi Lorenzo St. Clair of Erie, Pennsylvania, Saundra Lorenzo Collier (Boyd) of Richmond, Virginia; and cousins and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pennsylvania where the family will receive friends today, November 20, 2017 from 10 until 11 a.m. followed by a Service Celebrating Mary Martha’s Life at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend James Gear officiating.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown.
