Charles Hillen “Bud”
Charles “Bud” Hillen, 69, of Perryopolis, Perry Township, Pa., died on Monday, November 20, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born May 31, 1948 in Waynesburg, Pa., he was the son of the late James and Ruby (Keffer) Hillen
Mr. Hillen was retired from Flexcore of Pittsburgh, Pa., and enjoyed playing cards.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy (Anderson) Hillen to whom he was married 39 years; daughter, Jennifer Axton of Perry Township, Pa.; son, Charles Hillen Jr. of Monessen, Pa.; son-in-law, Frank Axton of Star Junction, Pa.; daughter-in-law, Brandi Hillen of Monessen, Pa.; sister, Joanne Adams of Star Junction, Pa.; six grandchildren: Madison Axton, McKenzie Axton, Miranda Axton, Chuck Hillen III, Landen Gilmore, Fearia Gilmore.
He was preceded in death by a brother, James “Sonny” Hillen Jr. and a sister, Dolly Seabo.
Visitation will be held Saturday, November 25, from 2 to 4 p.m. followed by Funeral Services at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Lee Maley of Amedisys Hospice at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS, Family Owned and Operated, 191 LIBERTY STREET, PERRYOPOLIS, PA 15473 (724.736.2515).
