Betty Carol Glass Wass
Betty Carol (Glass) Wass, 84, of Addison, Pa., passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017 at her home.
She was born on Friday, January 6, 1933 in Accident, Maryland a daughter of Carl and Elsie (Grove) Glass.
Her parents, husband of 38 years John L. Wass and brothers Ronald Glass and Larry Glass preceded her in death.
She is survived by a son John L. Wass II and wife Mary; grandsons: John II and wife Amanda Andrew and wife Melissa, Eric and wife Katie, Timothy and wife Jordan, all of Addison; five great grand daughters: Emma, Reese, Josie, Ava and Rosie; four great grandsons: Wyatt, Jeramiah, John IV and Noah; one brother Donald Glass and wife Kathy of Hanover, Maryland; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Addison and the Tuesday Quilters, Addison Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, and Addison Township Election Board
Betty was a volunteer at many community functions.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, sewing, quilting, gardening, and canning.
Betty was a loving wife, mother, grand mother and great grand mother as well as a friend to many. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the HUMBERT FUNERAL HOME in Confluence, Pa., where a Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. Andy Ganon officiating.
There will be viewing one hour prior to the Service.
Interment will be in Addison Cemetery.
