Man shot and killed in Uniontown apartment Monday
A 26-year-old man was fatally shot inside a Uniontown apartment Monday night.
Police have not released the name of the man. No arrests had been made in the case as of 10 p.m.
The man was shot at about 6:30 p.m. inside 51 Pershing Court.
Uniontown City Police Lt. Tom Kolencik said police do not believe there is a threat to the public.
“We believe this was an isolated incident, not a random shooting,” he said.
Police were conducting interviews on scene Monday night to determine who shot the man and what led to the shooting.
A state police forensics unit collected evidence from the scene.
