Fayette City family displaced by afternoon fire
A Fayette City family of four was displaced Monday when their home caught fire at about 1:30 p.m.
“Numerous” fire departments were called to assist Fayette City Volunteer Fire Co. at 107 Moats Street, according to a Fayette County 911 supervisor.
No injuries were reported to dispatchers.
The American Red Cross was called to assist the family, consisting of an adult and three children, the supervisor said.
The fire department did not immediately return a request for additional information.
